Sharda Sinha’s last rites: Nitish Kumar announces state honours
Bihar's beloved folk singer Sharda Sinha will be laid to rest with state honours, as announced by CM Nitish Kumar, following her passing on November 5.
The Samajwadi president said the public would give a befitting reply in the elections.
Terming Nitish Kumar’s move to leave the RJD and INDIA coalition a betrayal, Samajwadi Party President Akhilesh Yadav said the public would give a befitting reply in the elections.
The JD (U) leader took oath as chief minister of Bihar on Sunday with the support of the BJP after dissolving a coalition government.
Yadav lashed out at Kumar alleging that it was his defeat that could not be bigger than this.

Commenting on social media, the SP chief said the BJP was never as weak in its lifetime as it has become today.
“Today, a new record of betrayal has been made. The public will give a befitting reply to this. There can be no greater defeat than someone not believing in you as a person,” the SP president contended.
It’s noteworthy that Nitish Kumar was the architect of the INDIA bloc and had brought all the parties together. However, there were also reports of his discontentment for not being made the coordinator of the alliance.
Nitish announced his separation from the Grand Alliance on Sunday and resigned as the CM.
